Subject: Final Weeks of School - Importance of Attendance
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we approach the last few weeks of school, we want to remind you about the importance of consistent school attendance. Each day of learning is valuable, and missing even a few days can affect a student's progress and engagement. Our shared attendance goal for the school year is 95%.
The weeks ahead are crucial for students to show their learning and finish the school year strong. Please ensure your child attends every day and arrives on time, as it is a key factor in their academic success. There are twelve (12) days of school remaining and we encourage all students to set a goal for 100% attendance. A school calendar is included below to assist with planning. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 26th as this is the Memorial Day holiday. The last day for students is Thursday, May 29th and is a make-up day due to a weather cancelation during our winter months.
If you have any questions or need assistance with your child's attendance, please don't hesitate to contact your child’s school. Thank you for your partnership in ensuring our students have a positive and successful school experience.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Stewart
