Krysten Munn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience practicing individual & group mental health therapy in the outpatient and school-based settings. Krysten is also an Adjunct Professor at NKU where she instructs graduate level students on topics such as Field Placement, Ethics, and Human Behavior in the Social Environment. She has clinical experience working with individuals between ages 4 and 98 who experience symptoms of various mental health diagnoses. She utilizes a wide variety of therapeutic orientations with emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based Perspective, and Trauma-Informed Care. Krysten enjoys getting creative with each individual client to develop the right techniques for them. She is very passionate about empowering children and helping them with emotion regulation as well as behavior modification to ensure they get the best educational experience possible. She stated, “It is very meaningful to me to work with children. Not only can I be a voice for them, but also be a person to help them to find their own. That is an extremely rewarding part of my job”. Krysten is very excited to work with you this school year.
