Any family that would like for their child’s learning plan to be changed may complete a change request form for the school’s consideration. Changes may be made for valid need. Newport Independent Schools will be as flexible as possible. Families may formally request changes beginning October 1st. The change request form will close on October 9th. Changes will be based on the capacity of the individual classrooms to maintain social distancing, the needs of the school, the needs of the students, and the needs of the family. Any changes made will be communicated by the individual school and would take effect on October 26th. Change requests will be taken for second semester learning updates. The change request forms will open on December 1st and will close on December 11th.
