Red Ribbon Week

Help Newport Primary School Celebrate Red Ribbon Week!
October 24-28

We are celebrating Red Ribbon week because it is a way for students to unite and take a stand against substance abuse.  Students show their personal commitment to drug-free lifestyle through the symbol of a red ribbon.

Monday, 10/24 – “Rally in Red” – Staff and students will wear red from head to toe to kick off red ribbon week

Tuesday, 10/25 – “follow your dreams” – Staff and students are encouraged to wear their pajamas

Wednesday, 10/26 – “team up against drugs” – Staff and students are encouraged to wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt of their favorite team or player

Thursday, 10/27 – “I’m too bright for drugs” – Staff and students are encouraged to wear bright, colorful clothes

Friday, 10/28 – “Don’t get mixed up in drugs.”  Staff and students are encouraged to wear mismatched clothes
