Katlyn Hoeh Makes Record Softball History

Congratulations to the Newport High School LadyCats Softball Team's sophomore pitcher Katlyn Hoeh.  Katlyn recorded her 500th career strike out on Tuesday, May 14 against the Highlands Lady Bluebirds

With her 500th strike outs, she has set a school record for career strike outs for the LadyCats to go along with her other school pitching records in career and season wins, strike outs, and ERA. Way to go Katlyn!


STLP Community Project Recognized by Children Inc.

James Abrams Featured Artist at Monmouth St. Antique Gallery

Each month Monmouth Street Antiques Gallery features the art work of one Newport High School student.  This month the art work of James Abrams is featured.  On Saturday, May 11th from Noon - 2:00 PM, Guest Artist James Abrams will be at the gallery to discuss his work and to demonstate his unique painting style.

Updated 2013 - 2014 School Calendar
