Jim Hyder, NHS teacher and former Army Ranger, talked to students about his time served in the military. Mr. Hyder was an Army Ranger, serving in the Gulf War. His message to students centered on the the path that they will take in their lives and the legacy they will leave. He encouraged them to make choices that will make themselves and their families proud.
NHS extends a thank you to Mr. Hyder and to all veterans today. Thank you all for your service!
Mr. Hyder, as well as other local veterans, were invited to lunch from Pompilio's, organized by Donna Watts, NHS Youth Service Coordinator.
