2016 NHS Spring Sports Banquet

The NHS Spring Sports Banquet will be held Tuesday, May 31, at 6:00. The cost is $4.00 with presale ticktets and $6.00 at the door. Athletes attend at no charge. Awards will be presented during the meal. Dress is business casual. Hope to see everyone there.

See For Yourself Tour At Intermediate School

NHS April Reader of the Month

Brittney McKinney was nominated for April Reader of the Month by Ms. Harris because she is always prepared and has something to read at all times.

Senior, Camara O'Brien, was nominated by fellow student Kenny Mardis because she loves to read.

FBLA Supports the Brighton Center

On May 9th, Krista Mills, Kylie Orr, and Jennifer Michael had an opportunity to present the Brighton Center NKY Scholar House with a $1,000 check to help with their expenses. We were part of Magnified Giving this year which is a program that teaches the students how to be Philanthropists.

It's "Game On" for summer reading at the Campbell County Library


Teens can read and win prizes this summer at the Campbell County Library. The Summer Reading kickoff is Saturday, June 4. The first 200 teens who register receive a color-changing water bottle. Stay for lunch and train for a flash mob.  Click here for all of the details.

FBLA State Leadership Conference

At the FBLA State Leadership Conference, nine Newport High School students competed in four events. Congratulations to 1st place winners, Krista Mills, Ethan Snapp, and Miriah Combs, who won with their Community Service Project. They advance to the National FBLA competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
