Big Brothers/Big Sisters help out NIS

Big Brother, Austin Knight, took time out of his day(s) to raise enough money to buy 19 basketballs for NIS.  Along with raising the money, Dick's Sporting Goods gave an additional 20% off each ball to help.  We would like to say Thank You to Austin and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.

Updated Immunizations for 5th Graders

State Law requires all children entering the 6th grade to have updated immunizations and a physical. Your child needs to have this completed BEFORE the beginning of next school year. You can get this completed at your family doctor’s office or at the School-Based Health Center that is located in the Newport Middle School building. To schedule an appointment at the School-Based Health Center call 859-291-1910. Be sure to call soon to get your appointment. This is required for every 5th grader so appointment times will fill up fast.
